Hudson Atlantic sells Grand Gardens Apartments in Jersey City for $2.35M

Grand Gardens, a 16-unit apartment building in Jersey City has been sold for $2.35 million, according to a Wednesday announcement from Hudson Atlantic.

The property was listed, marketed and sold by Ben Susskind, one of Hudson Atlantic’s rising stars, with support from Adam Zweibel, co-founder and managing partner of the firm.

Hudson Atlantic closes sale of 16-unit Jersey City apartment building for $2.35 million

A private investor has acquired a 16-unit apartment building in Jersey City’s historic Bergen-Lafayette section, in a newly announced deal by Hudson Atlantic Realty.

Brokers say the property, 672 Grand St., traded for $2.35 million at a capitalization rate of 4.46 percent. Adding to the appeal was the building’s proximity to a slew of new developments in the neighborhood and to Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service, which provides commuters with access to Manhattan.


Developer buys site of 70-unit Bayonne rental project mid-construction

A private developer has purchased the site of a 70-unit multifamily project that is now under construction in Bayonne, in a newly announced deal by CBRE.

Brokers with the firm represented the seller, EOM, in the transaction at 90 Avenue E. A buyer based in Hudson County paid $6.13 million for the property, the team said, noting that the project is fully approved with a 20-year tax abatement and is within walking distance of Hudson-Bergen Light rail service.

Hudson Atlantic Realty recently announced it successfully closed on Lakeside Residences, a 52-unit luxury apartment building in Pompton Lakes, for $20 million, or $385,000-plus per unit. Built in 2022, this property boasts high-end finishes as well as a wide range of amenities including fitness center, resident lounge, game room and tenant storage.

New 52-unit luxury rental building in Pompton Lakes fetches $20 million, Hudson Atlantic says

A private investor has purchased a newly completed, 52-unit apartment building in Pompton Lakes for $20 million, according to a brokerage team with Hudson Atlantic Realty.

Known as Lakeside Residences, the property at 21 Lakeside Ave. opened last year under a project by Colfax Holdings Urban Renewal LLC, a Hackensack-based firm. It has now changed hands for $385,000 per unit, thanks in part to its luxury finishes and amenities such as a fitness center, a resident lounge, a game room and tenant storage.
