Hudson Atlantic brokers $20M sale of Southside Lofts in Robbinsville
Southside Lofts, a 64-unit Class A multifamily property located in Robbinsville, built in 2020 by Sharbell Development, closed for $20 million, according to a Tuesday announcement from Hudson Atlantic.
Adam Zweibel, president and broker of record at Hudson Atlantic, exclusively represented the seller, Sharbell, in the transaction. Zweibel also identified the buyer, who was undisclosed.

Hudson Atlantic closes sale of 16-unit Jersey City apartment building for $2.35 million

A private investor has acquired a 16-unit apartment building in Jersey City’s historic Bergen-Lafayette section, in a newly announced deal by Hudson Atlantic Realty.
Brokers say the property, 672 Grand St., traded for $2.35 million at a capitalization rate of 4.46 percent. Adding to the appeal was the building’s proximity to a slew of new developments in the neighborhood and to Hudson-Bergen Light Rail service, which provides commuters with access to Manhattan.

Built in 2022, this property boasts high-end finishes as well as a wide range of amenities including fitness center, resident lounge, game room and tenant storage.

A private investor has purchased a newly completed, 52-unit apartment building in Pompton Lakes for $20 million, according to a brokerage team with Hudson Atlantic Realty.
Known as Lakeside Residences, the property at 21 Lakeside Ave. opened last year under a project by Colfax Holdings Urban Renewal LLC, a Hackensack-based firm. It has now changed hands for $385,000 per unit, thanks in part to its luxury finishes and amenities such as a fitness center, a resident lounge, a game room and tenant storage.

Klein to Develop 272 Apartments in Metuchen, Bringing New Life to Ex-Factory Site
The Baltimore-based firm, Klein Enterprises, said the project at 212 Durham Ave. is slated to open around fall 2025 after the recent completion of demolition at the property. The former factory site has undergone significant environmental remediation over the past several years in preparation for the new multifamily development, the company said, while it will benefit from what is reportedly Metuchen’s first-ever payment in lieu of taxes agreement.
