Southside Lofts, a 64-unit Class A multifamily property located in Robbinsville, built in 2020 by Sharbell Development, closed for $20 million, according to a Tuesday announcement from Hudson Atlantic.

Adam Zweibel, president and broker of record at Hudson Atlantic, exclusively represented the seller, Sharbell, in the transaction. Zweibel also identified the buyer, who was undisclosed.

Pennsylvania rental building fetches $6 million, in first trade in 40 years

The longtime owner of a 57-unit apartment building in southeast Pennsylvania has sold the property for $6 million, in a newly announced deal by Hudson Atlantic Realty.

According to a news release, the transaction in the Drexel Hill section of Upper Darby marks the first trade of the asset in 40 years. Hudson Atlantic’s Adam Zweibel represented the seller in the deal at 3420 Garrett Road, noting that the price equates to more than $105,000 per unit and a capitalization rate of 5.75 percent.

The Highlander, a 19-unit apartment building located in Bergen County, has sold for $3.6 million, according to a recent announcement from Hudson Atlantic, which handled the transaction.

Developer buys site of 70-unit Bayonne rental project mid-construction

A private developer has purchased the site of a 70-unit multifamily project that is now under construction in Bayonne, in a newly announced deal by CBRE.

Brokers with the firm represented the seller, EOM, in the transaction at 90 Avenue E. A buyer based in Hudson County paid $6.13 million for the property, the team said, noting that the project is fully approved with a 20-year tax abatement and is within walking distance of Hudson-Bergen Light rail service.

An investor has purchased a 14-unit garden apartment property in Sussex County for $2.6 million, under a deal arranged by Hudson Atlantic Realty.

Located in Hamburg, the building known as King Cole Apartments benefits from its access to highways and nearby employment centers, according to the brokerage team. The firm added that the all-brick property was built in the 1950s and has spacious kitchens and basements with washer and dryer hook-ups and storage space.

Investor buys 46-unit Cranford apartment complex for $14.7 million, Hudson Atlantic says

Hudson Atlantic Realty has brokered the trade of a 46-unit garden apartment complex in Cranford, achieving a price of more than $318,000 per unit for the 1940s property.

The brokerage firm said the asset, Riverside Garden Apartments, changed hands among two undisclosed parties. The property at 12 Riverside Drive sold for $14.65 million, thanks in part to its location near Cranford’s train station and its walkable downtown, along with the complex’s garage parking and on-site laundry.
